During my recent visit to Eight Hotel in Portofino, I had the opportunity to experience both the city center establishment and the beachfront location in Paraggi, providing a unique comparison of luxury versus value.The central property in Portofino boasts impeccable service, with Ricardo at the reception desk standing out for his attentiveness. The inclusion of Bulgari bathroom amenities added a touch of sophistication, and the diverse breakfast spread catered to various preferences, featuring top-quality pastries.On the other hand, the Eight Hotel in Paraggi offered a relaxed beachside atmosphere, ideal for unwinding or exploring the nearby attractions. The staff seamlessly accommodated our switch between locations, showcasing exceptional customer service. The on-site restaurant exceeded expectations, surpassing other high-end dining options in the area.In terms of value, the complimentary Fiat shuttle service between locations was a convenient and cost-effective perk. While the limited parking at the central hotel could be a drawback, the availability of a nearby public car park provided a practical solution for guests with vehicles.both properties excelled in their unique offerings, catering to different preferences without compromising on quality. Whether seeking a lavish city experience or a tranquil beach retreat, Eight Hotel provides a discerning balance of luxury and affordability. A strategic choice for travelers looking to experience the best of Portofino without breaking the bank.
